The Buchakjian Lab is located in the Medical Education Research Facility (MERF) at the University of Iowa. The Buchakjian Lab focuses on oral cavity squamous cell carcinoma, with a particular interest in patterns of cancer invasion, epithelial-mesenchymal transition, and metabolism. The lab focuses primarily on basic science projects, but also has a number of translational and clinical research collaborations across the University.
